Vocation Fair

Four members of Mary, Queen of Carmel Association traveled to Steubenville, OH in October 2008 to promote vocations at the Franciscan University. Pictured from left to right are: Sr. Ruth Miriam and Sr. Donna (Coordinator) - Piedmont, OK Sr. Maria (2nd Councilor) and Sr. Regina - Alahamba Carmelite Monasteries within the Association provided material for the table and a PowerPoint presentation was also shown. Over 100 religious Communities were represented and the event was well attended by the students.

We were pleased to have Dr. Susan Muto as our presenter at Sierra Madre, CA. Dr. Muto lectured on 'Transformation in Christ according to St. Teresa of Avila." It was a wonderful and enriching times for all of us.

An official VMG choir, “Nada Te Turbe” is one of the two virtual choirs produced for the celebration of St. Teresa of Jesus’s 500th birthday.   The choir is made up of Carmelite Nuns and Seculars from around the world and is accompanied by the Teresian Orchestra of St. James Cathedral in Seattle, Washington.


An official VMG choir, “Salve Regina” is the second of the two virtual choirs produced for the celebration of St. Teresa of Jesus’s 500th birthday.   The choir is made up of Carmelite Nuns and Seculars from around the world and highlights the internationality and diversity of the Carmelite Order.
